Dear Brad,
I am currently a proud undergraduate pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Business with Honours at Singapore Institute of Technology. Prior to my university education, I pursued a diploma in Integrated Facility Management at Temasek Polytechnic. I also spent 2 years with the Singapore Armed Forces as an Air Force Officer in the Ground Based Air Defence wing. I fronted a firing unit that operated the Mistral missile system.
Throughout my tour as an officer, I picked up several leadership qualities that helped shape who I am today. I am confident and never afraid to speak up and express my views. I am also an energetic self-starter with strong communication skills, who works well independently and in a team.
Aside from work, I enjoy backpacking. I find it extremely liberating in discovering and experiencing different cultures and meeting new people. It allows me to broaden my perspective of life and the world in the midst of my journey of self-discovery. These little experiences helped me create values that are now built upon respect and love. Hence, I always believe in working in an equal and non-discriminatory society as this brings about positive energy and a healthy work environment.
